Rita Rose (Hausman) JustiMONROEVILLE: Rita Rose (Hausman) Justi, 88, residing in Monroeville, passed away peacefully late Saturday evening, November 26, 2016 at Gaymont Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.Rita was born on March 17, 1928 in Fremont, OH to the late Charles and Maggie (Wise) Hausman. Rita graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1946. She was employed as an assembler at New Departure in Sandusky for 6 years. Rita was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sandusky, V.F.W. Auxiliary, a Grandmother's Club and the Rainbow Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafts.Rita is survived by her three daughters, Pamela Justi of Castalia, Bonnie Yurkovich of North Royalton, OH and Roberta Kessler of Milan; eight grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Williams of Bettsville, OH and Inez Smith of Fremont, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Justi in 2013; five brothers, Cliff, Eldred "Bill", Willis, Ralph and Donald Hausman; and four sisters, Erma Beckley, Margaret Cochey, Myrtle Ackerman and Alice Lauer.Friends may call on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 11 AM until the time of services at 12 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 106 Scheid Rd. Sandusky, OH 44870 with Pastor Stacy Lauer-Scovanner presiding. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
