Robert Johnson, 59, of Rosedale, Mississippi, passed on August 01, 2023. Robert was born on April 11, 1964. He was a welder and a life-long resident.Robert is survived by his parents; his wife, Fatima K. Johnson( Hayes); his children; Dion Johnson, Ferlanda Hayes, Robert Johnson Jr, and Erica Johnson; his brother Ricky Johnson.Robert graduated from West Boliver High and finished his dream as a welder at Joe Barnes Vocational Tech. Center where he graduated. On June 6, 1985, he met the love of his life Fatima. They married 3 years later and started a family and welcomed their first son Dion.Robert was a devoted father and an avid fisher. He enjoyed cooking for his family and traveling up north to visit relatives during the summer. He often hung out with his band mates whom he had been friends with for decades. “The Sugar Daddies”. He was also a very spiritual man and involved in many church activities m, including playing the mandolin during services. He will be loved and deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on August 09, 2023 at St. Paul Baptist Church 120 S. Andrews Ave. Reverend Peter James Clayborn will officiate. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at Robert & Fatima’s home.
