Robert Edward Quarles (Bobby Quarles), 72, of Crockett, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2024. He was born on June 29, 1952.

Bobby attended Forest Park High School in Beaumont Texas. He received the Ralston Purina Youth of the Year Award 1969-1970. He was also president of the FFA.

Bobby attended college at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, where he rode bulls and saddle bronc horses in SHSU rodeos. Bobby received scholarships and shoed horses to make his way through college.

Bobby was also an avid hunter, fisherman and scuba diver. He also held the record for the largest Warsaw grouper, which he speared while scuba diving. Bobby will be greatly missed.
