Robert “Bob” Campbell, a veteran of The United States Air Force and long time resident of Milford Michigan, passed away on February 19th, 2022 surrounded by his family. Bob, as he was known to many in the area, was born August 19, 1941 to Harold and Connie Campbell and attended Waterford Township High School before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. Robert was a dedicated employee of General Motors in Pontiac, Michigan where we worked for over 20 years. Robert was very passionate about fast cars and after retirement from GM, had a side business where he worked on cars for years in his garage. Robert also was also a proud member of the military guard and performed many military honors at graveside services for his fellow deceased veterans. “Bob” was a man’s man and never knew a stranger because within minutes of talking to him, it was like you were his best friend. Robert had a charm and personality to win over anybody in the room. He will lovingly be remembered by his daughter Melanie (Campbell) Graham of Yorktown, VA. Granddaughter Madeline, and Grandson Davis, as well as daughter Carmen (Campbell) Gross and husband, Scott, of Naperville, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Connie and his sisters Barbara and Jacque. A private family celebration of life will take place on Monday in Waterford. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Heart to Heart Hospice (https://www.htohhfoundation.org/donation/) or UsAgainstAlzheimer’s (https://action.usagainstalzheimers.org/ onlineactions/g3H8H-AAWEWLGXn_uwq70w2) in his memory.
