Robert (Bobby) Paul Weir , 95 passed away peacefully on February 05, 2022. He was born in Altoona to Fredrick Paul Weir and Mae Jean Weir on March 03, 1926.

He married Edith Ann (Bridges) Weir in 1987 and they lived together in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Together they raised Edith's 3 children Cheryl Weir, Colleen Guyer (Rod Guyer), and Kate Annafrack. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren James (Jim), Cristine (Cris), Robert (Jason), Sarah, Rebecca (Becca), Joseph, Adam, Paulina, and Samson.

Bobby served his country for 4 years in the Army Rangers.

After his time in the military he went on to work for Boyer Candy Co until the owners sold it in 1969. After that he worked a short time breaking and training horses on his cousins ranch until an injury left him permanently disabled.

Bobby said when he met Edith it was like the whole night was swallowed up because she was his sun.

Edith also brought him the three biggest gifts of his life and that was his girls.

After losing their Youngest Kate, Bobby would wake each morning pour his cup of joe and watch the sun rise in greeting to his daughter.

He is proceeded in Death by his parents, his loving wife, and his youngest daughter Kate.

Bobby lived a full life and was ready to be reunited with his sun.
