Kruegel, Robert A., Jr. Age 71, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday evening September 28, 2016 at VA Hospital in Madison. Visitation will be on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 3-5 PM at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Parkinson's Association. Robert Arthur Kruegel Jr. was born on September 6, 1945 in West Allis the son of Robert and Olga (Lange) Kruegel. He was a graduate of UW-Milwaukee with a BS Degree in Communications. Bob owned and operated Stone Valley Paint in Palmyra. He was state representative of the (NSRA) National Street Rod Association for 18 years. He was a member of the Watertown American Legion Post #189. He retired in Lake Havasu, AZ in 2001. Bob is survived by his wife Virginia of Watertown, two children; Christy Kruegel of Goodyear, AZ. and Chad (Kristen) Kruegel of Lake Havasu City, AZ., three step-daughters; Kristin (Jon) Sommer of Novato, CA., Kate (Peter) Honerman of Hudson and Karrie Vrabel of Minneapolis, MN., five grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dug Kruegel.
