Fisher, Albert Robert Albert Fisher was born on May 7, 1930 in Lansing, Michigan. He passed away on February 22, 2017 in Chandler, Arizona. Robert graduated from Haslet High School in Haslett Michigan in 1947. He joined the
Army in 1948 and was stationed at Sandia Base in Albuquerque, NM. Robert married Marlene on October 3, 1952 and discharged from the Army on February 16, 1953. He worked for Ideal Cement for 30 years, starting in sales in Albuquerque and retired as Vice President of marketing services in Denver, Colorado. Robert was an active part of the following organizations: Rio Grand Conservancy Board, , Business & Manufactures Association (Commerce & Industry), United Way (Albuquerque and Chandler), Chamber of Commerce (Albuquerque), Masonic - Blue Lodge-York Rite, Rotary, and the Albuquerque Boat Club. He moved to Sun Lakes, Arizona in 1985. Robert worked as a starter for Palo Verde and Oakwood golf courses where he built and repaired clubs. He loved to work, read and found time for golf. Robert has two sons: Robert Wayne Fisher and Scott Alan Fisher. He also has two grandsons: Michael and Shawn, a granddaughter Chelsea M and three great-grandchildren, Lana, Joseph and Hailey. For the last 5 months Robert has lived in the memory ward of the Gardens at Ocotillo. Our family wishes to express thanks and gratitude for the excellent help and care that was given to Robert by their staff.
