Robert Anthony Ybarra, age 27 of Greenwood, Texas, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 20, 2017. The family will be accepting guests from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Funeral services will be at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Chapel on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Robert was born on May 2, 1990, in Hobbs, New Mexico and attended school in Carlsbad, New Mexico. It was there he met the love of his life and his wife, Alyssa Horne. He and Alyssa have three children; a daughter Peyton and two boys Weldon and Wyatt. Robert loved God, family and country. His favorite thing was spending time with his family. He liked coaching and watching Peyton and Weldon in baseball, he liked to hunt and fish, tinker in his shop, plant trees in the yard, and raise chickens. Robert was a good cook and loved to feed his family. Robert was quiet, confident, strong, and extremely loyal. He led his family as God instructed by being an example for them to follow. Robert is survived by his wife, Alyssa and three children, Peyton, Weldon, and Wyatt; his parents Donna & Cecilio Garza; his siblings Honesty Garza, Cecilio Garza and Richelle Contreras; his grandparents; Sylvia Ybarra and Ryder & Hilda Garza; his nieces, Alexis and Aaliyah; and his nephews, Julian and Talon; his best friend and brother-in-law Mark Horne and wife Tommy; and numerous other family members who loved him dearly and will miss him terribly. Robert is preceded in death by his Grandfather Donald Joseph Ybarra, Sr. and his Great Grandparents; Leonila Carrillo, Enemenzio Alaniz Ybarra & Antonia Anaya Ybarra.
