Finley, Sr., Robert C. "Bob"Robert C. "Bob" Finley Sr., 83, Green Bay, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, August 11, 2017. The son of Clarence and Ellen (Mooney) Finley, he was born on February 3, 1934 in Janesville. Bob was a graduate of Janesville High School, Class of 1953. After graduating, he joined the US Navy, during which time he was stationed in Japan. On May 12, 1956, Bob married Nancy Hoag at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nassua, Iowa. She preceded him in death on January 13, 2005.Bob was a Sales Manager at Wilson Foods for 39 years. He was a chef in the Navy and enjoyed sharing those talents with his family and friends. He also enjoyed going to Packer games and playing cards. He spent his winters in Florida. He was a very personable and family orientated man, and like a true Irish man he always had a story to tell!Bob is survived by his children, Cheryl (Cory) Gustafson, Naples, FL., Bob (Mary) Finley, Jr., Green Bay, WI, Kris (Scott) McCormick, De Pere, WI; Bob's special friend, Sally Warning, Hobart, WI; grandchildren, Danny (Kari) Gustafson, Naples, FL, Laura (Eric) Nitti, Hastings, MN, Brian (Nicole) Finley, Green Bay, WI, Patrick Finley, Green Bay, WI, Max McCormick, De Pere, WI, Abby McCormick, De Pere, WI, Sam McCormick, De Pere, WI; great-grandchildren, Ryah, Neko, Leif, Marissa, Amelia, Nicholas and Jack. He is further survived by his brother, James (Mary) Finley; a brother-in-law, Lyndahl Slayton, sister-in-law, Saybra Hoag and special niece, Janie Aebly as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sisters, Sister Mary Bernal Finley, Mary Ellen Dunphy, Genevieve Slayton and brothers-in-law, Richard Dunphy and Glibert Hoag, Jr.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S.
