Mr. Robert was born on October 16, 1935 in Tampa, Fl. He graduated from the Hillsborough High School and enlisted in the United States Army in 1965. Robert never married but did have a long-time mate Susan Jones. Robert and Susan moved to Alabama where they conceived there first daughter Rochelle Collins. Robert worked as a fisherman and mechanic but also had other trades that he dabbled in. Robert did not have a church home when he passed on.

Mr. Collins is survived by his daughter and granddaughter, Rochelle Collins and Shavonne Miller, great grands Brenisha Simmons, Vaughndell Miller and Dalilah Wilburn all of Tampa, Florida.

Robert is preceded in death by his Father Leroy Collins, Mother Betsey Collins his sister, Betty Collins; and her daughter, Kate Jones.Robert Collins Jr. will be cremated in a private ceremony on May 19, 2018.

A memorial will take place on May 18, 2018 at Morning Glory Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate. Mr. Collins life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Mr. Collins Go Fund Me account.
