It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert McCoy, who was born on May 31, 1947, and left this world on June 18, 1981, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.Robert was a devoted father to his son Timothy and a loving spouse to Candice Bergen. He was also a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren.Robert attended Yonkers High School and graduated in 1965. He then went on to further his studies at Fordham University, where he graduated in 1969.Throughout his life, Robert was the bassist for Fulcrum and dedicated his time to helping Fulcrum. He was also honored with a Grammy Award for his contributions to the music industry.Robert served his country as a 1st Lt. in the 3rd Infantry Division unit of the U.S. Army for 1.5 years, showing his dedication to his country.When he wasn't working or serving his community, Robert enjoyed playing his Les Paul guitar at home, finding solace and joy in his music.Robert's life was tragically cut short by a gunshot wound, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service to others.Robert McCoy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed.
