Robert Lawrence Dupin1935 - 2016Robert Lawrence Dupin, 81, of Summerfield, Fla., passed away on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016.Robert was born on March 9, 1935, to the late Stanley and Virginia (Midkiff) Dupin. He graduated from high school in Waukegan, Ill., in 1952. Robert served in the United States Airforce for four years. He met the love of his life, Eleanor (Lois) Dupin at American Motors where they both worked. They were married July 17, 1971, in Waukegan, Ill. He worked at Chrysler Motors (American Motors) for 30 years and retired in 1989. He and his wife moved to the Florida Keys in 1989 and then to Summerfield, Fla., in 2013. He was an avid boater and fisherman and served as Commodore of the Kenosha Yacht Club; was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd Degree Mason; and also he was a member of the Coast Guard Auxillary in the Florida Keys.Robert is survived by his wife, Eleanor; children, Robert (Kathleen) Dupin of Kenosha, Barbara Sue Dupin, Cynthia Dupin, of Covina, Calif., Barbara Kay Dupin of Beau Arts, Wash., Karen Finch of Covina, Calif., Janice (Jeff) Fingland of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Derek (Michelle) Dupin, Kevin and Joshua Finch, Alyssa, Stephanie and Danielle Suter; great grandchildren, O'sais, Nova and Gia Dupin, Kylie Suter, Jacob Gail, Elena Suter; sister, Doris Manning of Waukegan, Ill., along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Gjelsten.A Celebration of Life will be held in Summerfield, Fla.
