Robert E. "Bob" Johnson, 58, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne. Bob was born on May 2, 1956 in Seattle, WA to the late Jack G. and Florence I. (Mitchell) Johnson. Bob married Joy l. Sweet on August 1, 1995, and she survives. He worked for Indiana Packers for 10 years. Bob enjoyed watching NASCAR, Western movies, and fishing. Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Matthew G. Johnson, Jeremy E. Johnson, four daughters, Alisa I. Johnson, Melody A. Johnson, Jennifer S. Johnson, Kaitlyn E. Johnson, and one step-son, Justin E. Neal. Also surviving is one sister, Myrna Johnson.He is preceded in death by one sister, Cindy.Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral Care with visitation one hour prior.
