Naze Sr, Robert F.Robert F. Naze Sr., 88, Algoma, was called to eternity April 9, 2017. He was born on March 9, 1929 to the late Xavier and Helen (Meunier) Naze and held the honor of first baby born in the newly built Algoma Hospital on Mill Street, Algoma, WI. Bob married Gloria Hartwig on June 5, 1973. Bob attended St. Mary Grade School and Algoma High School. He was sworn in at Great Lakes Training Center in North Chicago, IL, attended basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and was stationed at Battalion Headquarters, Fort Ord, California. He retained the rank of S/Sgt. (Staff Sergeant) and was honorably discharged December 1948 and was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He attended Badger Business School in Green Bay and started his career as an Insurance Agent, continuing in the business twelve years.
