GONZALEZ Robert "Bob" Joseph, 74, passed away peacefully at home in Whiting, NJ on Thursday, November 24, 2016, with his loving wife and children by his side. Bob was born on July 24, 1942 in Hackensack, NJ and was the son of the late William and Irene (Saffery) Gonzalez. Raised in Hasbrouck Heights NJ, he graduated from Hasbrouck Heights High School in 1960 and went on to receive a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Farleigh Dickenson University. Bob was a Real Estate Broker for over 35 years and was licensed in NJ, PA and FL. Bob leaves many happy memories to his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy (Bottjer) Gonzalez; his daughter Laura Gonzalez-Allesch (and husband Steven) of Stroudsburg, PA; his son William Gonzalez (and fiancé Melissa) of Dumont, NJ; his grandchildren, Nicholas Saccoccio, Joseph Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez and Anna Gonzalez; his brothers; his nieces and nephews and his many close friends. Bob was a very kind, loving and generous man who could make everyone around him smile. He was known by many for being an engaged conversationalist with a knack for telling stories. He enjoyed life to the fullest with a great love of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Frech-McKnight Funeral Home located at 161 Washington Ave., Dumont, NJ on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 11 AM-1 PM.
