Robert Goodlive IIILANCASTER: Robert Goodlive III, 76, of Lancaster passed away on January 28th, 2017 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Robert was born on August 9th, 1940 to the late Robert Jr. and Mary S. Goodlive in Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of Fairfield Christian Church for 40 years. Robert loved to read about history. He was an avid golfer prior to an illness. Robert was a big sports fan, especially for The Ohio State Buckeyes. He retired from the FDIC where he worked as a Bank Examiner. Robert served in the United States Marines.Robert is survived by his loving wife, Penny; son Robert (Andrea) Goodlive IV; daughter Emily (Don) Morris; grandchildren, Robert V, Gage and Cole Goodlive, Kevin and Katie Morris; half-sister, Lois (Bernard) Coy; half-brother, William (Gloria) Goodlive; several cousins, as well as many special friends in the Helpers Sunday School class.He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as his step-mother, Helen Goodlive.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Barbee officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the FUNERAL HOME, as well as 1HR prior to the services on Thursday. Burial is to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
