He was born on October 27, 1954, in Hanover, the son of the late Samuel and Theda (Gentzler) Gross. He was a graduate of Hanover Senior High School. He worked as a Financial Manager for Synchrony Financial. Bob was passionate about being happy and kind and spending time with his family and dear friends. He took great satisfaction in being successful at his profession. He had a boundless love of music and sharing it with others. He enjoyed playing the guitar, trumpet and harmonicas. His life was also filled with the delights of gaming, canoeing, camping and skydiving and so much more. His joie de vie was infectious. He proudly served as a Seabee in the United States Navy.He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Barbara R. Gross; and his stepchildren, Aleea O'Neill, Shain Conner, Casey Conner and Parsha Barnhart, whom all truly loved him as DAD.Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
