Bishop, Robert (Bob) H.Robert (Bob) H. Bishop 88, passed away on June 28, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. He was born on June 1, 1929 in Beaver Dam, WI to Clarence and Eva Bishop. Robert served his county during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. He later worked at and retired from the James River Paper Company in 1989 after 41 years as a Crew Chief Millwright. After retirement Bob and his wife Jean operated Bishop's Hook and Hoof Resort in Minocqua for 10 years before his second retirement. He was active in retirement as a member of First United Methodist Church of the Pines, Odd Couples, Forest Riders Snowmobile Club, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, woodworking and reading but especially loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Jean, five children Beverly (Mike) Marsh, James (Holly) Bishop, Barb (Brad) Alt, Bonnie (Steve) Malchow and Brenda (Chip) Leedom. Bob is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a brother in law Walter Johnson. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Donna and Patricia, and brothers Clarence and Ronald. Funeral Services will be held on July 5, 2017 at United Methodist Church of the Pines in Minocqua. Visitation will be at the church from 10-11 am followed by funeral service and a luncheon. Burial with memorial service will be at 9 am, Thursday July 6, 2017 at Green Lawn Cemetery in Neenah, WI.
