Robert H. BoydNaples, FLRobert H. Boyd, 86, a Naples resident for the past 39 years, went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2015. Bob was born on January 1, 1929 in Rock Island, Illinois. He is survived by his loving wife, Elle, of more than 63 years of marriage. Also surviving Bob are four children: Becki (Tom), Scott (Jennifer), Bret (Ursula), Lori (Mark), 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan.After high school, Bob entered the Army and served 3 years with the 11th Airborne Division, stationed in Japan. Upon returning, he attended Augustana College and Milliken University. He was in the real estate business for most of his life, having had offices in Moline, Illinois and Naples, Florida.Bob's strong faith was a beacon and great example for his family. In his spare time, he loved to play golf, especially if it included his sons or grandchildren. He will be forever missed.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army or Grace Place in Naples. A service will be held at Moorings Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 5th at 11:00 am.
