Patterson, Robert "Bob" Hamilton 88 of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on July 15, 2017. Bob was born on June 9, 1929 in Portland, Oregon and was raised in Alameda, CA. Bob was hired in to the Petroleum Industry at the age of 18 years old in 1947 by a Standard Oil subsidiary Signal Gas & Oil in Alameda, CA. After serving in the US Army Artillery in the Korean War, Bob returned to Signal Gas & Oil, until it was purchased by Standard Oil in 1966. He was given a new assignment in 1968 as an Assistant District Sales Manager from 1968 to 1977 where he covered the Northern half of Arizona and the Southern half of Nevada. In 1977, the Company was restructured to Chevron USA where Bob was Land & Real Estate Manager for Arizona until his retirement in 1991. Bob lived in Chandler, AZ for 25 years during his retirement after 44 years of dedicated service. He loved sports, Golf & especially ASU Football, Basketball, & Baseball. Bob is survived by his wife of 40 years Noreen, his children, Jeff, Karen, Scott, Janet & John, their spouses, grandchildren & great - grandchildren. Memorial Service for Bob will be at 10 A.M. on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E.
