Reedy, Robert Harold 'Bob' Aug. 25, 1930 - Nov. 12, 2015 Robert Harold Reedy, 85, of Medford OR passed away on November 12, 2015. Bob was born on August 25, 1930 to Thomas Harold Reedy and Alice (Meslo) Reedy in Yankton SD. Bob attended Yankton HS and graduated from Yankton College in 1952. While in school, he began a lifelong passion for sports and excelled in football and track. He was a lifeguard at the area swimming pool in the summer, and an ice skater in winter, and once was offered a job with the Ice Follies. He went on to become a graduate in physical therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 1953 and worked first in St. Paul MN. That year Bob married June (Snow) Lee, also of Yankton SD. Bob started at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN in 1954 as a staff physical therapist specializing in the care of children and young adults. He became involved in hospital administration and retired in 1985 as president of the hospital. While in Fort Wayne, he again showed his versatile athletic abilities by playing squash, claiming city and state championships. Bob moved to The Meadows in Sarasota FL in the late 1980s and enjoyed his retirement, playing golf and tennis and going on cruises for the next 20 years with his many friends. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and concern for others. He is survived by his son Mike Reedy, his wife Susie (Brodie) Reedy, their children Joe and Kelsey and by his daughter Sue (Reedy) Paulus, her husband Sam, and their children Kassie, Scott and Carly. A remembrance service will be held at Horton Plaza in Medford OR on December 27 at 2 PM. Interment will be in Yankton SD.
