It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Holloway, beloved brother, father, and grandfather. Born on October 16, 1953, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Robert led a life filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of mischief.
Robert, also known as "Bobby" to his friends, was the life of the party wherever he went. From his hilarious one-liners to his questionable dance moves, he always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.
Robert is survived by his four siblings, six children, and three grandchildren : sister Deborah Overton(Holloway), brother Robert HollowayJr., brother William Holloway, brother James Holloway, daughter Patricia Morrow-Cobb(Holloway),daughter Annette Holloway, daughter Karen Holloway, son Aaron Holloway, son James Holloway, son Brian Holloway, grandson Dayton Hubbard, grandson Dedrick Hubbard, and granddaughter LaQuinta Holloway. While he may not have always been the best at keeping track of birthdays, he made up for it with his endless love and support for his family.
Despite his countless attempts at DIY projects gone wrong and his infamous cooking disasters, Robert will always be remembered for his big heart and infectious laughter.
As Robert once said, "Life's too short to be serious all the time. Sometimes you just have to laugh it off and keep on living." And that's exactly what he did until his last breath on April 21, 2024.
Rest in peace, Robert. We know you're up there cracking jokes and causing mischief wherever you are.
You can to the family or in memory of Robert Holloway.
