Jacobson, Robert J. "Chopper Bob"Robert J. "Chopper Bob" Jacobson, age 58, a resident of rural Whitelaw, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his residence, due to natural causes.Bob was born on September 19, 1958 in Two Rivers, son of the late Robert L. & Vera Ora (Schmidt) Jacobson. He was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School, Class of 1976 and also earned a degree as a tool & die mechanic. He was a member of the United States Marines. On August 5, 1978 he married the former Mary Maltby at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Bob was employed as a tool & die mechanic at Paragon Electric, Two Rivers. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, working on cars and listening to 8-tracks. Bob was a former president of the Immortals M.C. for many years. But most importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include his wife: Mary Jacobson, Whitelaw; one daughter: Tammie Maltby and her special friend: Raymundo Gallegos, Manitowoc; four grandchildren: Devin Ploederl & special friend Stasya, Talisha Ploederl & special friend James, Kali Ploederl, Trenten Ploederl & special friend Gabby; one great grandchild: Effylia Arnold; one great grandchild arriving in October; his mother-in-law: Joan Maltby, Manitowoc; his siblings: Kathy Mahlik, Debbie Jacobson, Kay (Jack) Hubert, Bill (Kim) Jacobson, all of Two Rivers, Thor Jacobson and Jennifer Jacobson, both of Colorado; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Linda Erdmann, Manitowoc, David Maltby, Sturgeon Bay, Chuck Maltby, Plymouth, Steve Maltby, Green Bay, and Jon (Candice) Maltby, Manitowoc. Also surviving is his dog: Buddy; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law: David Maltby; a brother: Samuel Jacobson; a brother-in-law: Bob Mahlik; two special cousins: Jim & Mark Jacobson and his dog: Bobby.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Immortals Club House, 1331 Norstad Road, Manitowoc.The family will greet relatives and friends at Immortals Club House, Manitowoc, from 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 until 2:00 p.m.Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting
