Andler, Robert J. Robert (Bob) John Andler, age 90, of Dousman died peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2017 at AngelsGrace in Oconomowoc. Bob was born on April 30, 1926 the son of the late John and Louise (Dziabas) Andler of Chicago, Illinois. Bob was a veteran of
WWII serving aboard the USS West Virginia from March 1944 to May 1946. He worked as a lifetime printer at The Mukwonago Chief, North American/NAPCO, and Milwaukee Folding Carton. He instilled a great work ethic in all his children and grandchildren. Bob was a member of the
VFW, the American Legion, and the USS West Virginia Association. Bob is survived by his wife Caroline, his 8 children Glen (Sandy) Andler, Lynn Depuy, Mary (Kevin Brouwer) Rudolph, Edward (Karen) Andler, Michael (Cindy) Andler, Christine (Don) Scheid, Cecilia (Kip) Besaw, Robert John Andler, Jr., his 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother Kenneth Andler. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John. A private family service will be held. Bob's greatest joy was sharing his Navy stories and going to his reunions for the USS West Virginia each year. Donations to the USS West Virginia Association in Bob's name would be appreciated.
