It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Johnson, who was born on March 6, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, United States, to Robert Johnson, SR and Mary Johnson. Robert peacefully departed from this world on October 13, 2024. He was a beloved husband to Winnie Johnson, whom he married in 1955.

Robert was a loving father to his 10 children: Samuel (spouse Rosemary), John, Lloyd (spouse Helen), Robert III (spouse Unice), Roy (spouse Linda), Henry (spouse Raymond), Jacob, Matthew (spouse Sylvia), James (spouse Judith), and Carl (spouse Rita). He was also a cherished grandfather to his 10 grandchildren.

Robert served in the United States Army as a Corporal in the 5th group unit for 30 years, demonstrating his dedication to his country and his fellow soldiers. His commitment to his military service was matched only by his commitment to his family.
