Jue, Robert Robert Jue, 68, passed away on August 28, 2017. He was born on December 17, 1948 in Winslow, AZ to Bing Yee and Rose Wong Jue. He moved to Casa Grande two years ago. Robert grew up in Winslow, AZ. He graduated from Winslow High School in 1967. He attended Grand Canyon College, Phoenix College and the Gila River Career Center Trade School for refrigeration. He was a communications specialist, field wireman in the U.S.
Army serving in Vietnam from 1968-70. He worked for the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, American Express and owned and managed several businesses in Winslow including Kachina Refrigeration and Heating, All Purpose Foam Roofing, Kachina Market & Joe's Café and worked as an electrician and lead man for several electrical companies in the Phoenix area. Robert was a member of the Veterans from Foreign Wars (VFW), a life member of the National Rifle Association and rode with the Patriot Guard Riders. He loved hunting, fishing, cars, casinos and playing Mah Jongg. He is survived by his mother, Rose of Casa Grande, sisters Kathy of Casa Grande and Betty (Phil) of Scottsdale, daughter Jasmine of Sacramento, California and his nieces Courtney (Adam) and Heather and nephew Brad and lots of cousins and their families and other relatives. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Bing Yee Jue, and brother Frank Jue. A celebration of life service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the local veteran's 501c3 non-profit organization in honor of Vietnam Veterans: HOHP, 318 N. Florence St., Suite A, Casa Grande, AZ 85122. 100% of your donation goes to veterans and their families in need of a "hand up".
