Robert Jones, 79, passed Friday, May 11, 2018. Robert was born to Douglas Jones, and Carol Freeman, May 25, 1938, in Blacksburg, South Carolina.

Robert married Gwinnett Stewart, on January 7th, 1958 and moved to start a family in Manhattan, New York. Robert worked as a Housing Superintendent until he retired in 1998.

Robert is survived by 8 children: Aretha Jones, Alfonso Jones, Paul Jones, Robert Jones Jr, Michael Jones, Barbara Lovell, Timothy Jones, and Carolina Jones-Pigette. He also is survived by 12 grandchildren.
