With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Meads, who left this world far too soon at the age of 51. A lifelong resident of Monticello, Arkansas, Robert was a man of unwavering determination and a steadfast commitment to family and hard work.
Robert built a successful career working on the railroads, dedicating himself to his craft with tireless effort and pride. His work ethic and determination served as an inspiration to all who knew him, and his contributions will not be forgotten.
Though Robert and his wife parted ways early in life, he remained a devoted father to his two beloved children, Shameka Meads and Jeremiah Meads, who will carry forward his legacy of love, resilience, and strength. He was a family man through and through, living and passing surrounded by the loved ones who meant the world to him.
Robert’s presence lit up every room he entered. He will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and quick sense of humor. His kindness and steady spirit made him a cherished friend and a beloved member of the Monticello community.
He is survived by his children, Shameka and Jeremiah Meads, along with a family who loved him deeply. Though his time with us was too short, the impact he made on those around him will last forever.
A private service will be held in Monticello to honor Robert’s life and the legacy of hard work, determination, and love he leaves behind.
Rest in peace, Robert Meads. You will forever be missed, but your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.
