Robert "Bob" M. Hulet, Sr.Febuary 11, 1940 - September 7, 2014Never Say "Goodbye", Because Goodbye Is Final, Always Say, "See You Later"Robert Milton Hulet, age, 74, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at a local care facility. He was born on February 11, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho to Earl S. and Verla E. (Griffith) Hulet. He attended school in Pocatello. Bob joined the Coast Guard in 1957. He married Dona J. Mercer in 1959 in Elko, Nevada. Together they raised five children, Robert Jr. (Deanna) of Washington, Roylene Hulet of Pocatello, Bert (Leola) Hult of Pocatello, Susan Fodor (Billy) of Pocatello, and Michael (Joanne) Hulet of Oregon. He is also survived 12 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Lubbe, Betty Poole, and Sharon (Joe) Nafus; four brothers, Earl Lee (Karen) Hulet, Dale (Diane) Hulet, Dennis and spouse, and Roger Hulet. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruby Brown; and a great granddaughter.Among his hobbies, Bob enjoyed fishing, reading religious books including the bible. He loved drinking coffee and eating chocolate.Honoring Bob's wishes, his was cremated under the care and direction of Downard Funeral Home in Pocatello. Military Rites will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 19th at Mountain View Cemetery. Bob's family would like to thank the Idaho Veterans Home and Heritage Hospice for all of their compassionate care. Friends who wish may contribute to any Veterans Service Organs or to the Epileptic Research Fund.
