Born in Atlanta Georgia on February 27th 1968, he was the second born son of Robert Moore Vann Jr and the Late Betty Benton Vann.

He and His Wife Debbie, just celebrated 36 years of marriage on August 6th. Mike, as he preferred to be called, loved his girls fiercely and unconditionally. He was the true definition of a Father and Husband in every aspect of the role. His Wife and his girls were his world.

On any  given Saturday during football season you could find him in his recliner cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.

He was an avid collector of Cast iron cookware. Especially collectors edition Lodge skillets. He took his hobby to another level and taught himself how to restore cast iron using an Electrolysis Tank.

He loved sharing his knowledge and new finds with his friends on Facebook and various cast iron Facebook groups.  For Years Mike has used Facebook for more than just keeping up with friends. He used Facebook as a Ministry. Sharing daily devotions, positive words, and uplifting messages, Mike touched many lives right from his living room.  He left a lasting impact on any who met him.
