Robert Schauland, 83, of Geneseo, Illinois, passed on September 11, 2023.Robert Phillip Schauland, a beloved husband, father, and member of our community. Robert passed away peacefully on September 11th, 2023 at the age of 83. His departure leaves a void in our lives, but his memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.

Born on October 23rd, 1939 in Chicago, IL, Robert was the son of Ed and Margerie Schauland. From an early age, he exhibited a remarkable sense of compassion and empathy towards others, which would become the defining qualities of his life's work. Robert dedicated himself to serving others in their most vulnerable moments, embarking on a career as a funeral director.

For over three decades, Robert served our community with unwavering dedication and professionalism. His gentle demeanor, comforting presence, and genuine empathy provided solace to countless families during their most challenging times. Robert possessed an innate ability to create a sense of peace and dignity during funeral services, ensuring that each farewell was a meaningful and healing experience for all involved.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert cherished his roles as a devoted husband, father, and friend. Robert Phillip Schauland is survived by his beloved wife Maria Morales, his devoted children Amy Schauland, Todd Schauland, Robert Schauland, his cherished grandchildren Dion Branch, Tyia Schauland, Derek Lee, JaTaya and JaTia Lee, Jimmy Lee and Jayla Lee, and a wide circle of extended family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A funeral service to celebrate Robert's life will be held at Vandemore Funeral Home on September 18th, 2023.
