KING, ROBERT (PAUL) RUSSELL Robert (Paul) Russell King, 73, of Northford, passed away in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Yale New Haven Hospital, on November 26, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Sullivan King of Northford; his daughter Jennifer King of Durham; his brothers Kenneth (Cynthia) King of North Haven; Richard King of Green Valley, AZ; Henry King of New Haven; cousin Carmel DiLeone of Milford, and extended family members. Robert was born on August 16, 1943, in New Haven, the son of the late Carmela (Millie) Ercolano and Jacob King. He served in the Army National Guard, 243rd Signal Company. A self-employed hair dresser for 50 years, he was the long-time proprietor of the Hair Loft in Hamden. Robert was admired by many (and especially by his adoring wife and daughter) for his positive outlook on life, his generous heart, and his love of laughter.
