Robert L. SchmidtZANESVILLE: Robert L. Schmidt, 77, of Zanesville died at 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Genesis Hospice- Morrison House. He was born on July 25, 1938 in Zanesville to the late Elmer and Daisy Keller Schmidt. Robert is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Surviving are his loving wife, Sherry Miracle Roush Schmidt; three sons, Gary (Patricia) Schmidt, Doug (Angie) Schmidt and Bill (Wendy) Roush all of Zanesville; a daughter, Debra (Patrick) Norris of Harpster, OH; twelve grandchildren, Erica, Kaitlin, Dustin, Anelia, Dulton, Ben, Bain, Mason, Eli, Cooper, Heather and Patrick Jr.; seven great grandchildren, Waylon, Gunner, Eva, Stella, Malia, Kinley and Eira; a sister, Barb (Bill) Beckwith of Florida; three brothers, Dick (Candy) Schmidt of Zanesville, Ron (Pat) Schmidt of Tennessee and Jim (Sue) Schmidt of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
