Stageman, RobertRobert "Bob" Alfred Stageman , 80, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Clement Zablocki Medical Center in Milwaukee. Bob was born on January 15, 1937 in Saukville, the son of Clarence H. and Mildred E. (Grosklaus) Stageman. He was a 1955 graduate of Port Washington High School and served is the U. S. Army Reserve and then served in active duty in the
US Marine Corp from Feb. 6, 1956 to Feb. 5, 1958 being honorably discharged at the rank of corporal. On January 17, 1959, Bob married Joanne Faye Reimer at the Campbellsport United Church of Christ. He worked for Henry Timblin Trucking in Kewaskum, Kimberly Clark in Neenah and Roadway Trucking in Fond du Lac before retiring. Bob was a 25 year member of the Teamsters.Bob loved fishing with his boys, hunting, camping, old cars, helping with the canning and traveling. Bob and Joanne spent their winters in Weslaco, TX at the 1015 RV Park. He taught line dancing at Amerahn for seven years and was a member of the Dundee Sportsman Club, Long Lake Fishing Club, Wisconsin Campers Club, Kettle Kampers of West Bend, Lighthouse Campers of Fond du Lac, Kettle Moraine Klassic Kar Klub and the Northeast Western Car Club. Bob lived the past 24 years with a medtronic device.Survivors include his wife Joanne, children Randy (Donna) Stageman, Karen (Dave) Baumhardt, Ron (Anita Loritz) Stageman, Don (Lisa) Stageman and Tammy (special friend Paul Wuest) Ebert, grandchildren Will (Samantha) Stageman, Brett, Andrea and Trevor Stageman, Reid and Ross Baumhardt. Bridget and Brenna Ebert, Justin (Lydia) Lyons and Kaylee Lyons, great granddaughter Cealy, sister Audrey Leider, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Joan Stageman, Joe and Kathy Reimer and Linda and John Hoffman, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and his faithful canine companion Maggie. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Calvin and brother-in-law Marvin Leider.Visitation will be Friday, October 20th from 3:00 until 6:00 PM with a memorial service at 6:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Campbellsport Fire Department, the Fond du Lac Fire Department or the VA Fisher House.
