Gatske, Robert V.Robert V. Gatske, 91, Green Bay and Lakewood, died Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born on January 24, 1926, in Green Bay to Victor and Nellie (Pamperin) Gatske.Bob graduated from Green Bay West High School and then served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. On June 9, 1948, he married Joyce Calawerts at Annunciation Catholic Church. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, running beagles at the N.E.W. Beagle Club, and golfing.He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joyce; four children and their spouses, Marsha and Bill Farrell, Mary and Butch Skinner, Tom and Colleen Gatske, Dan and Linda Gatske; grandchildren, Trevor and Brenda Farrell, Ryan and Ellen Farrell, Joseph Farrell, Kevin Farrell, Maggie and Joe Lasee, Moira Farrell and Lauren Broeckman, Michael Farrell, Molly Gatske, Mandy and Patrick Severson, Carrie Gatske, Erin and Noah Pieper; nine great-grandchildren, Hannah Farrell, Bennett Farrell, Gretchen Farrell, Lucy Lasee, Elliot Lasee, Simon Lasee, Ruby Severson, Hunter Batterson, and Zachary Batterson; sister, Pat and Glenn Tesch; brother, Jim and Judy Gatske; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dan and Rosalie Calawerts.He was preceded in death by; his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Norma Calawerts, and a grandson, Shawn Farrell.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
