These 6 couples have continued a strong connection through the years with over 27 trips taken together all over the world. So many dear friends have gone before Bob, but always the positive man, he knew I will see them again. Over the past 10 years Bob took his Hawkeye spirit to the wonderfully social community of Rio Verde, Arizona. Bob was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, caregiver, advocate and ally. He was considered by many as a wise and trusted counsel, a difference maker, a leader, with a great sense of humor. As a cribbage shark, hunter, walleye assassin, or golfer, Bob was competitive and loved to tease whoever he played. He wanted you to have fun. In business, he was a trail blazer, an influencer, an inspiring role model with amazing financial acumen. He was always compassionate, generous, kind, respectful and well respected. And, when all that was done - a world explorer, very loyal Hawkeye, devoted Catholic and humble but proud man from Iowa.Bob was preceded in death by both his parents; his wife, Betty; son, James; and sister, Mary Ann Carr.
