We are gathered here today to celebrate the life and memory of Robert Wallen, also known as Rob, who graced this earth from June 27, 1968, until his untimely passing on February 6, 2025, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was the beloved son of Sherrell and his sister Shannon and her husband bill and his nieces and nephews and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Rob was a proud father of 10 wonderful children: Ashley, Mariah (and her spouse Spencer), Danielle, Michael, Phillip, Lane, Shayleigh, Cody, . His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
As a grandfather to 5 grandchildren, Rob was known for his playful spirit and heartwarming stories. He held a special place in their hearts and will be fondly remembered for the love he showered upon them.
Rob served his country with honor and bravery as a Marine, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to protecting the freedoms we hold dear. His commitment to his fellow servicemen and women was exemplary, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he served alongside.
When he wasn't busy serving his country or spending time with his family, Rob found joy in the exhilarating sport of bull riding. His adventurous spirit and fearless nature made him a force to be reckoned with in the arena, leaving spectators in awe of his skill and determination.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to rob, whose larger-than-life personality and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him. His passing due to congested heart failure serves as a reminder to cherish each moment we have with those we hold dear, for life is precious and fleeting.
May Rob rest in peace, surrounded by the love of his family and the memories he leaves behind. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
