A Chincoteague Island native and decoy carver, Robert was born on January 26, 1947; he was member of the Union Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #243Robert Sr is the son of the late Stanley and Emma Haines Watson. He was predeceased by his loving wife Nancy Watson; brothers Arthur, Jimmy and Raymond Watson. Survivors include brother Eddie Watson and wife Hallie, sister Ethel Bradley and husband Pat, daughter Sonia Watson, son Robert Watson Jr, daughters Robin Watson and husband Lorenzo and Angie Abell and husband Barry. Grandchildren Kevin Scott Liddle Jr and wife Corra, Bethany Mavromatis, Tyler Watson, Kobie and Shayla Henderson, Taulman and Hope Abell and 3 great grandchildren Hunter, Blake and BellaRose Liddle and several cousins, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church.
