Cook, Robert "Bob" Wayne 74, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on November 16, 2016. Bob was born on May 12, 1942, to Charles and Bernetha Cook in Elkhart, IN. The family moved to Arizona in 1958 where Bob graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. He worked at Motorola Semi-Conductor (later ON Semi-Conductor) as a researcher until he retired in 2002. Bob was a loving husband to Margaret "Peggy" Brown for 38 years. They made their home in Scottsdale where they raised their two sons, later moving to Mesa. As an active member of Scottsdale Bible Church, Bob sang in the choir and served in the Tech Department for many years. He loved the outdoors: camping, hiking, river rafting. He especially enjoyed being "Grampy Bob" to his four grandchildren. Making memories and snapping photos on the many family vacations brought him great joy. Bob's laughter and kind heart will be missed by all who knew him. Bob is survived by his wife Margaret, stepsons Jonathan (Jennifer) and Eric (Heather), grandchildren Carl, Emmett, Abbey and Amelia, and his sister Kay (John) Custis. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10am, Saturday, January 21, at Scottsdale Bible Church, 7601 E. Shea Blvd.
