Brunner, Roberta "Bobbie"Arlington- Roberta "Bobbie" Brunner, age 78, died peacefully on March 8, 2017 surrounded by her family after a long illness. Bobbie was born on February 26th, 1939 in Toledo, OH to Mathias N. Dietrick and Hazel M. Dietrick (Wogenstahl). She was the oldest of 5 children. On October 29th, 1960 Bobbie was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Brunner. Together, they had 5 children. In 1988 they bought a house in Arlington, WI and have lived there since. Bobbie was a hard worker.She retired from Ball Canning Company in 2005 after working there for 29 years. After retiring, her and Bob were able to do some traveling around the country and visit family and friends. Bobbie enjoyed being a grandma of 6, a great grandma to 6 with one more on the way.Bobbie is survived by her husband, her 5 children, Dottie (Jim) Naumann, Bob Jr. (Kim) Brunner, Terri (Victor) Petterson, Tina (Steve) Wiggins and Michelle Brunner (Ron Ripp). Her grandchildren Matthew (Malissa) Petterson, Justine Petterson (Toby Wright), Danielle (Evan) Hunt, Riley Wiggins, Mason Brunner (Abby Borgrud) and Kendra Brunner. Her sister SueAnn (Jim) Belda, Buddy Dietrick, and Mike (Cec) Dietrick and many nieces, nephews and extended family; including a special friend, Donna Sanford and her daughter Carla Hegge. Bobbie is preceded in death by her mother and Daddy, mother and father-in-law; Clarence and Myrtle Brunner, sister; Flossie Dietrick and her great nephew; Jacob.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Alecia,Bobbie's Hospice nurse from Home Health United. Also, to all of the staff at Waunakee Manor.A visitation will be held Friday March 10, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm with areading of The Rosary to follow at RYAN FUNERAL HOME. 6924 Lake Road,DeForest, WI.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 10:30am with a visitation from 9:30 am until time of service at ST. THOMAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 655 South Main Street Poynette, WI, with FR. Balaraju Eturi and Fr. Paul Eruva presiding. A Luncheon will follow after service. Internment will take place at a later date.
