MAPLEWOOD — Roberta Mummey, 81, of Maplewood, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at 2:03 p.m. at Heritage Center in Minster.

She was born on April 23, 1935, in Richwood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Cletus and Esther (Callahan) Dunham.

Roberta is survived by three children, Dave (Darlene) Mummey, of Houston, Russ (Martha) Mummey, of Sidney, and Louisa Garrod, of Rockport, Texas; a sister, Carolyn Young; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Dunham.

Mrs. Mummey was employed by Copeland Corporation as a laborer for 43 years. Roberta enjoyed playing cards, reading and crocheting in her spare time. She loved to cook. Roberta especially enjoyed cheering her grandchildren on at various sporting events.

Per Roberta wishes, her body will be cremated. There will be no funeral services held.
