Roberta "Rubbie" Jean Nagy passed away December 16, 2016 at her home in Longmont. She was 80 years old. Roberta was born on March 11, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert and Louise (Loczy) Kovash. She graduated from John Adams High School. She then attended Kent State University where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Education. On June 7, 1958, she married Louis Nagy in Cleveland, OH. Roberta was the physical education teacher at Richmond Heights in Ohio before working as a personnel manager for Kmart in Bainbridge, OH. After she and Louis moved to Longmont, CO in 2003 she worked at the CSU Extension office. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where she was in the Bell Choir, served as a Deacon, was a member of the Senior group as well as a member of the Lois Circle. In NE Ohio she and Louis had been members of the Suburbanites and in Longmont she belonged to the Longmont Quilt Guild. Roberta enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching baseball and basketball; she was a huge sports fan. But, most of all she loved her grandchildren. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband Louis and her parents. She is survived by her son Bob (Marjie) Nagy of Firestone; her daughter Becky Nagy of Longmont; her son in law Jeff Hasselfeldt of Longmont; her grandchildren Kerri (Chad), Madilynn and Carlie; her great grandson Jack; her sister Louise Bozsvai; her cousin Patty Grattino; and her niece Theresa Gagliardi. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service 10:00 AM Thursday December 22, 2016 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
