Roberta J. Bobbie Petrausky1945 - 2013Roberta J. Bobbie Petrausky, 67, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving sisters, Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center.She was born on Nov. 25, 1945, to the late Theodore and Verna (Stamm) Petrausky in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford in 1963.Bobbie worked as a librarian at Westfield Elementary School in Winthrop Harbor for several years.Bobbie was a former member of First United Methodist Church and sang in the choir.Bobbie was the President (many times) for Abolish Barriers for Lifetime Efficiency. She was very active in promoting accessibility for the disabled.Bobbie enjoyed ceramics, reading, embroidery, and writing poetry, music and loved cats. She was also an avid card player and loved playing cribbage.Bobbie is survived by her loving sisters Barbara Ann (Thomas F.) Turner of Friendship, Wis., and Judith (Allen Pasch) Bonn of Kenosha and Kendall, Wis., her nieces and nephews William John Nelson of Milwaukee, Deborah Turner of Kenosha, Laura Russo of Richmond, Ill., and Ralph T. Bonn of Racine and three great nephews and two great nieces.Funeral Services for Bobbie will be held on Monday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Wisconsin Chapter (1120 James Drive Suite A Hartland, WI 53029).
