In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to a Memorial Fund in Roberta's name at www.gofundme.com/robertaphillipsRoberta was born on Feb. 7, 1943 in Coffey County KS to James and Avis Richards and died in Shreveport LA on Oct. 29, 2016 with her husband Jimmie Reid Phillips by her side. She is also survived by son Rorry Phillips and wife Kristi Willbanks of Irving TX, daughter Laura Martin and husband Ken Martin of Mascoutah IL, grandchildren Emma Martin, Reid Phillips, and Elizabeth Phillips, sister Bonnie Jones and nieces and nephews Robin Bowyer, Jessica Jones, Logan Jones and Rhett Bowyer all of Irving TX, brother James Richards and wife Lori Richards of Leroy KS, nephew Denver Phillips, niece Margaret Phillips Hart, and many other extended family and close friends around the country.She earned B.S. Degree in 1995 from Wiley College and had worked for LA Assoc. for the Blind and Goodwill Industries, and was a member of Disciples of Christ Churches in Shreveport.
