Roberto Pacheco, 79, a longtime resident of Tecolote, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.He was born on May 16, 1936, to Guadalupe Pacheco and Floripa Garcia in Las Vegas.A Catholic, he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Tecolote.He was preceded in death by his father and mother: Guadalupe and Floripa Pacheco; two brothers: George Pacheco and Frank Pacheco; and sister-in-law: Margaret Pacheco.He is survived by his sisters: Dora Pacheco of Tecolote, Eva Sena of Las Vegas; brothers: Lorenzo Pacheco and wife, Jane, of Tecolote, Willie Pacheco of Tecolote; nephews: Larry Pacheco and wife, Gloria, of Tecolote, Steve Pacheco and wife, Bonnie, of Tecolote, George Pacheco and Rose Pacheco of Denver, Johnny Pacheco and wife, Christine, of Tecolote, Sammy Martinez and wife, Ramona, of Tecolote, Mike Quiñones and wife, Melinda, of Algodones, George Gallardo and wife, Theresa, of Tecolote, Michael Pacheco of Tecolote, Jose Pacheco of Tecolote; great-nieces: Angela, Andrea, Anthony, Estevan, Robin and Shanaya Pacheco of Tecolote; numerous great-great nieces and nephews.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas. Funeral Services will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Friday also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant. Interment will follow at Tecolote Cemetery with the following serving as casket bearers: Estevan Pacheco, Anthony Pacheco, Johnny Pacheco, Joe Pacheco, Joe Sena, Michael Pacheco and George Pacheco.
