On May 27, 2023 Robin Dewayne McCauley has ser come his two year long battle of cancer. Robin was born February 5, 1964 in Modesto, California.
Proceeded in death by his son; Dakota James McCauley, his mother and 2nd Dad; Sharlett Winifred Murray Short and Rickey Eugene Short, his father and 2nd mom; Clyde Felix McCauley Sr. and Kaye Jeanan Lambert McCauley, his nephew; Tommy Lee Dyer Sr. his father in law; Buzz Leon Shultz.
Survived by his wife; Angela Marie Landes McCauley, his mother in law; Nora Bell Shultz, his daughter and 2nd son; Sarah Nichole McCauley(24) and Devon Paul Baldwin(30), his sons; Ryann Dewayne McCauley(39) and Randon Levi Higgins(37), His 2nd daughters Cristina Nycole McCauley(32) and Jamie Lee Lopez(32), His sister and brother in law; Patricia Michelle McCauley Orozco, his sister; Rebekah Yvonne McCauley, his sister and brother in law; Rachel Lenea McCauley Shultz and Kevin Shultz, his brother Robert Delano McCauley, his brother and sister in law; Stephen Clyde McCauley and Tammy McCauley, his 2nd sister Christine Ann McCauley. his 17 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He lived in Ponca City, Oklahoma during his life and attended Ponca City elementary and middle schools and graduated in Marland, Oklahoma. While in school he was in gymnastics, basketball, baseball, and track and field. After highschool he married Ronda Jean Barth and had two children Ryann McCauley and Randon Higgins. Later he remarried Angela Marie Landes and had two more children; Dakota McCauley and Sarah McCauley. He had 17 grandchildren.
Robin loved playing his guitar, fishing, combing his hair just right just to put a hat on his head, collecting elephants, watching football; Pittsburg Steelers and OSU were his favorite teams. He also loved spending time with his family and didn't have a problem with a little bourbon with friends and loud music. Robin was a jack of all trades, pipe liner to tree trimmer to cook. He could do anything his set his mind on.
Robin loved life, family, outside, loved being his children and grandchildren. He was the biggest kid in the yard. Robin loved camping and fishing maybe that is why he was the most patient person in the family. Robin didn't show anger often, he was easy going and laid back and didn't like violence between family and friends. Treated everyone with love and kindness. If Robin claimed you, you were his for life.
