Dyke, Rodney G.Rodney Gene Dyke, age 61, of Waldo, WI, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.Rodney was born on July 7, 1956 in Sheboygan, WI, a son to Ione (nee Stokdyk) Liebenstein and the late David Dyke. Rodney graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1975. He worked at Larson Canning Factory, Kohler Company and retired from Sheboygan County Highway Department in 2012. Rodney was a former member of the Waldo Fire Department for many years and enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing sheephead and cribbage. He also enjoyed his many trips up to Green Bay and various casinos with his mom and friends. Rodney also had a huge passion for trains, watching dirt track racing and loved to Karaoke. He was a fan of all Wisconsin sports and loved to watch the Brewers, Packers, Bucks and the Badgers.He is survived by his mother: Ione Liebenstein of Hingham; Three sons: Chris Dyke of Plymouth, David Dyke of Hingham, Brian Dyke (special friend: Nikki) of Plymouth; Granddaughter: Jada Dyke of Oostburg; Two brothers: James Dyke (special friend: Robin) of Waldo Ken (Karin) Liebenstein of Sheboygan Falls; Sister: Patricia Ramirez of Sheboygan Falls; Step-brother: Keith (Delores) Liebenstein of Plymouth; Nieces and nephews: Tyler (Nicole) Liebenstein of Madison, Derik (Jamie) Liebenstein of Washington D.C., Ryan (Jordan) Kaufert of Sheboygan, Jessica Kaufert of Sheboygan Falls, Magdalene Ramirez of Sheboygan Falls, Jami Risse of Adell, Dana (Jeremy) DeBruine of Plymouth, Lisa (Ted) Berschbach of Mt. Calvary, Eric Murray of California; and Special step-grandchildren: Kennedy and Georgia Bitter of Oostburg. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father: David Dyke; Step-father: Wesley Liebenstein; Step-brother: Bruce Liebenstein; Step-sister: Marilyn Stolper; Uncle and Aunt: Ervin and Gloria Pfeifer; and Nephew: Shawn Kaufert. Following Rodney's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening (September 12, 2017) at 7:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Tom Fleischmann, will officiate.
