We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rodney Franklin, who was born on August 17, 1979 and passed away on July 26, 2024 in Orlando, Florida, United States. Rodney was the beloved son of Rodney and Georgia Franklin.

Rodney dedicated his life to helping others as a LPN at Baptist South and was a devoted member of the MAAD Dads/Uncle organization. His hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, as he was awarded Employee of the Month in both January and March of 2023.

Outside of work, Rodney enjoyed spending time with his family, bike riding, cooking for loved ones, and watching Marvel films. He will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle spirit.

Unfortunately, Rodney's life was cut short due to mental illness. His passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Rodney's family and friends during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
