ROGER D. BAUSMAN, 66 PONTIAC - Roger D. Bausman, 66, of Pontiac, IL passed away at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Heritage Manor in Minonk, IL. Roger was born on July 26, 1947, in Freeport, IL, son of Clyde and Velma (Murray) Bausman. He and his significant other, Darlene Garrett, had been together since 1997. She survives in Pontiac, IL. Also surviving are two sons, Mark (Anita) Bausman of Chillicothe, IL and David Bausman of Tennessee, IL; two daughters, Cathy (Danny) Baxter of Pekin, IL and Andrea Goldsmith of Pontiac, IL; one sister, Connie (Tom) Cox of Forreston, IL; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gordon Bausman. Roger attended Warren Schools and graduated of St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in 1998. He was a volunteer fire fighter/EMT in Warren, IL. He worked for Heritage Health Care in Minonk for 5 years, and also various nursing homes in the surrounding area. He was most recently employed with Luckey Tank Lines in Streator for the past 7 years. Roger attended Secor United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church in Pontiac. Roger greatly enjoyed camping with his family. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Secor United Methodist Church in Secor, IL. Pastor Charlie Graul will officiate.
