He was born on March 25, 1946 in Cedar City, Utah to Gordon Henry and Iva Dalley Bringhurst. Roger was raised in Cedar City. He enjoyed the hills of Southern Utah, fishing, hunting, and golf. He graduated from Cedar High School and SUU (Southern Utah University), receiving a Bachelor's Degree. He served in the military. He worked as a telephone engineer. Roger married Kerrie Thorley and helped raise 4 children. A cowboy at heart, rough around the edges with a heart of gold. This man will be missed beyond measure. A man of many talents, keeper of the bees, the best apple juice maker, favorite fishing buddy, dear friend, husband, father, and proud grandpa. He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the New Harmony LDS Chapel (12 South Main, New Harmony UT). A viewing will be held prior on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will be in the New Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
